How to delete your account
Option 1 — Delete inside the app
Open the Langlio app and go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Follow the confirmation steps. Your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion immediately.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us at hello@langlio.co.uk from the address registered to your account with the subject line Account deletion request. We will process your request and confirm by reply.
What happens when you delete your account
- Your account, profile, learning progress, conversation history, diary entries, saved phrases, and all other personal data are permanently deleted.
- Active production data is removed within 30 days of the deletion request being confirmed.
- Encrypted backups may retain residual copies for up to 90 days before being overwritten.
- Subscription records may be retained for as long as required by law.
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
